Cat Eye

Back to Monsters

Well this monster idea comes from a joke that went around my workplace for a while. It started as someone showing a Cyclops cat photo to everyone, and eventually it become the monster that people hated or got irritated at. But I found it to be fun and even cute in a strange way. After almost two years of having the idea floating in my mind, I finally decide to paint it.

Element
Shadow
Level / Difficulty
5/ Very hard
Ability:
Nighty-night, Shadow sneak, Jingle bell, Hypnotize
Weakness:
Light attacks
Drops:
Cateye keychain, Jingle bell.
Notes:
This monster is next to imposable to catch; there are only two in the whole game. They are good at hiding, and not to mention they have a 90% escape rate. And even if you manage to get on in battle, they can mess up your team big time. Hypnotize lets it control one of your character and use all the power that character has through out the fight. Jingle bell irritates your team members and raise their miss hit rate to 70% for as long as the member is irritated. Shadow sneak lets it hides inside the shadow of one of your character and heal it self as it drains the HP of that character. Nighty-night is an attack that puts all your characterS to sleep for 2 to 5 turns which gives Cateye plenty of time to escape. However the drops this monster gives makes up for all trouble it caused. Cateye keychain let you see into darkness as if it is daylight, no more surprise attacks and no more losing your way in caves. Jingle bell can irritate other monsters, and keep them away form you for a long time, so if you just want to look for treasures in monster infested places, this item is your savior.
